This mixed-use row house will include a community kitchen and café on the ground floor and two renovated apartments above.
The café will serve as the demonstration kitchen and community center for the existing D.I.T.O. community garden in West Oak Lane. The café will be the first brick-and-mortar space for the program, serving as a permanent home for D.I.T.O.’s teaching kitchen, grocery distribution, and community gatherings and workshops. A small on-site kitchen garden would also provide fresh herbs to augment produce grown at the nearby garden.
